- Virginia State Waterfowl Conservation Stamp
- Federal Duck Stamp
- Hip registration number
Hunting Items needed
- Shotgun
- Non-toxic ammunition (Steel Shot)
- Camo Outerwear (Insulated jacket)
- Insulated chest waders, waterproof gloves, wateproof coat
Optional Items
- Blind bag (for food, drinks and ammo for the duration in blind)

- Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs
- Lead ammunition
- More than one gun
